Azizul Abedin is a Bangladeshi singer, song writer, music composer and poet. Aziz started writing song in early age. Harmonica and acoustic guitar are his primary music instruments. However in studio recording he used other instruments as well.
The songs are in Bengali. Easy composition but depth in meaning are the strength of his music. Beauty of nature and emotion have been reflected in different form in his songs. He connects audience in live performance by telling stories relating his songs.
The Bangladeshi musician studied in Liverpool, the birth place of Beatles. John and Paul both impressed him during then. Influence of Beatles' simplicity, Bob Dylan's varieties and sting's style of writing found in Aziz's songs.
Apart from music and song writing he is also a poet. He recites his own poems with background music composition in stage shows. This unique way of presenting his poems appreciated by the audience and critics.
He also draw cartoons and wrote cartoons captions in his early life, in Unmad Satire Magazine and Bhorer Kakoj. Cartoonist Ahsan Habib's philosophy of life attracted him during his teen. Unmad and surroundings encouraged him reading different types of books at the same time learned creative thinking. This early life exposure benefited him by developing ability to write and draw effortlessly later.
Outside his work life and family, music and writing become his favorite pastime.
